Primary
colors come in two forms: Additive Color Systems and Subtractive
Color Systems.
· Additive color systemsprimary colors
consist of Red, Green, and Blue. This is produced by the overlapping of the
primary colors produced by light. When all three primaries combine, you create
white light.
· Subtractive Color Systems primary colors
consist of Red, Yellow, and Blue orCyan, magenta, and Yellow. The color
wheel as most people know it. This is created by the way light reflects the
color we see, and absorbs the remaining colors.
